Late last week, Weather Flow, one of the best weather apps for Windows Phone, received a bump to version 2.0, which added a number of great new features, particularly where customization is concerned.

With the new update from Hungary-based developer Team Distinction, you can completely personalize the layout by dragging and dropping tiles and also customizing the information you see. By simply adding and removing blocks, you can customise the screen of the app, and you can select any type of weather property you might be curious about from wind speed and UV to visibility or pressure.

Apart from the fully personalized content, the update comes with a complete redesign, hand-crafted icons and stunning background images based on the current weather condition. One of users’ favourite feature, the custom lock screen and the live tiles, are also fully redesigned with new icons and style. Tailored for Windows Phone 8.1, the app includes an illustrative, detailed view showing hourly & daily weather information, and the essential “Feels Like” feature as well.

By swiping sideways you can quickly change or add new locations, and to ensure accurate weather forecast at all times, the update even supports three different weather providers: simply change the source of data to double-check the information.

You can download the new Weather Flow update via the QR code for $1.99 after a free trial. You can also download the Lock Screen Helper companion app for lockscreen support.

What do you think of the new update?
